WHO WE ARE!

JHM Mobile Service was created as a way to try and make the hassle of having your vehicle serviced or repaired more straight forward whilst giving back that personal and professional element.

I gained the bulk of my mechanical experience when I started my apprenticeship back in 2016. Before I was a qualified technician, I was the go to for what we call, "Heavy Line work"; This includes clutch replacements, transmission teardowns and rebuilds to major engine repair and even engine replacements.

 

Before long I had been given the opportunity to move and be a part of the technical team for a prestigious dealership in West Yorkshire where my role moved away from the spanners and more towards to more delicate, time consuming diagnostic and fault tracing work. It wasn't long before I became the head of that team.

The next step in my development came when I was offered a more managerial role for one of the UK's up and coming fast fit franchises. This is where my experience with how, not so clear cut garages, can be with their customers. From unnecessary work being pushed as urgent or different services not being explained in way a non-car savvy person would understand.

It wasn't long before I decided that I didn't want to be a part of this and ended up moving a fairly respectable independent chain in the Sheffield area. Here I furthered my skills and experience having the ability to work on a vast variety of cars and vans as opposed to limited product line you'd have in a dealership.

 

The idea for JHM Mobile Service, Diagnostic and Repair came about as I saw a gap in the market for bringing the garage to people who may have had poor experience in the past, or maybe even those who become intimidated when faced with things about their car that they don't understand.

 

Our operating hours also accommodate those who's work schedules don't allow them to have the time give their cars or vans the level of care they deserve working a 9 til 5 job.
